Guidance for the Project Manager
The Overall Approach: The Steps in the Process (TAG Unit 2.1) notes the interaction between transport and land use. On the one hand, future travel demands will be shaped by future land uses while, on the other hand, changes in the disposition of land uses will be influenced by changes in accessibility provided by the transport system. This is further discussed in Policy Instruments (TAG Unit 2.3).
Objectives and Problems (TAG Unit 2.5) gives an overview of Accessibility.
Accessibility is covered in the Appraisal Summary Table(TAG Unit 2.7.2).
Guidance for the Expert
