How to use the WebTAG web site

The site is designed to serve a range of users with different requirements and levels of expertise. We have therefore provided a number of different routes into the guidance documents through the menus at the top of each page.

The Objective, Study types and Study Process pages provide summaries of key aspects of the transport study and appraisal process with links into the most relevant sections of the core guidance documents.

The Documents section provides access to the core guidance documents and worksheets, as web pages and downloadable formats for printing.

The Links section lists pages of links to external web sites, to find relevant guidance, policy documents and other information available elsewhere on the web.

The Topics section provides a list of themed pages, each with direct links to the most relevant parts of the core guidance for their particular topic. They act as pre-defined Searches, to make it easier to find information not listed in the contents pages of the core guidance documents.

What’s New, will be used to announce changes to the website and publication of relevant guidance.
