WebTAG 2

Welcome to WebTAG 2, a new version of WebTAG that is intended to provide the Department’s guidance in a clearer format and better targeted at its specific audiences.

At present, this site and all the units on it are for consultation. The content of the guidance itself is not substantially changed from definitive guidance, but presented in a clearer format to make it easier for users to find the guidance they require.

The following releases aim to replace current guidance in the Overview and Project Manager tiers and it is hoped better meets to needs of those audiences. These Units include more information on how transport analysis fits in to the decision-making process and the 5-Case Model used in transport scheme business cases. This consists of the following three documents:

Guidance for the Technical Project Manager (TPM) - [PDF - 450 KB]

The next step in the process is to restructure the guidance for the Practitioner – the current Expert level in WebTAG. We aim to release completed documents for consultation as and when they are fit for release and encourage users to send their comments to us.
