16-08-05 Second Digital Tachograph Has Received Type Approval
Siemens VDO have been granted formal type approval for its Digital Tachograph. This follows interoperability, functionality and security testing at the European Commission's Joint Research Center. This now means that there are now two formally type approved Digital Tachographs in existence.
