14-01-05 VOSA Operator Self-Service in finals for e-Government Awards
VOSA’s Operator Licensing Self-Service was officially launched in July, and since then it has proved to be a tremendous success, with upwards of 45% of vehicle transactions on Goods licences now done on line. This has greatly improved both the efficiency and accessibility for operators, who can now transact licensing business with VOSA 24/7.
The success of this project had already been recognised when it was runner up in the Government Computing BT Syntergra Awards 2004 for Innovation. It has just been announced that VOSA’s Operator self service and VOSA’s TAN21 team have been selected as finalists in the e-Government National awards 2004. The award winners will be announced on the evening of 19th January 2005.
