Equality monitoring in VOSA
VOSA has published a report containing information about the equality monitoring we have a duty to produce each year. This information is with regard to statistics collected during 2007 - 8 for: staff in post; recruitment; promotion; leavers; performance; grievance and training. The report analyses staff equality, focusing on the requirements of the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000. The analysis also includes information split by gender, disability, age, grade and location.
The aim of the report is to establish whether there are any inequalities within VOSA concerning these areas. The next step for VOSA is to produce an action plan, outlining any actions or initiatives that are needed to correct any inequalities highlighted in this report.
