The swarf may restrict the engine oil passage reducing the lubrication capacity. This may produce an abnormal level of noise and, in the worst case, may cause the engine to seize. |
| Remedial Action : | Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to inspect the engine oil gallery and where necessary the engine assembly will be replaced. |
