It has been identified that on subject machines, the fuel tank front mountings may distort in reaction to severe frame damage occasioned in a frontal collision. This may result in fuel leakage from the weld of the front bracket to the tunnel. Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire.

Recalled machines will have braces fitted to the vulnerable area, in order to reduce fuel tank front mounting distortion during frontal impact scenarios.
