Disability Discrimination Act 2005
A draft Disability Discrimination Bill was published in December 2003 and underwent pre-legislative scrutiny (more information on this process is available from the 'What we have done' section). Although it contains elements on transport, the Bill was introduced by the Department for Work and Pensions who are responsible for publishing non-transport related material and general material relating to the Bill. The Bill received Royal Assent to become the Disability Discrimination Act 2005. All documentation is available through the following links:
