Evaluation of Low Floor Small Buses (2 Mb)
This report, prepared by the Transport Research Laboratory on behalf of the Department for Transport, explores the opinions and experiences of the industry and passengers, and compares the operation of low floor small buses with their high floor equivalents. Surveys were conducted with manufacturers, operators, drivers and passengers to investigate each vehicle's capital costs, running costs and advantages (or disadvantages) experienced when operating them.
