Reform of the Blue Badge Scheme

A comprehensive Blue Badge Reform Strategy was published on 20 October 2008, following a public consultation (between January – April 2008) and a robust programme of research, economic analysis and stakeholder engagement. The Strategy document contains the most significant reforms to the disabled parking regime since the introduction of the Scheme in 1971.
