Land security

The Department for Transport (DfT) is responsible for ensuring the security of passengers and staff on the national rail network, underground and light rail systems and in the Channel Tunnel and on the London Underground. This section provides details of those responsibilities and contains information on the team’s role in counter-terrorist activities.
