'Published' date

Every document on this site has a 'published' date. This term refers to the date when an item is published on the website and may not necessarily reflect the date when the document is published for circulation. This is especially the case for reports which are published for circulation before being published on the Department for Transport website. The date the report was published for circulation can often be found within the body of the report.
