Welcome to the TEMPRO website
The TEMPRO software provides summaries of National Trip End Model (NTEM) forecast data
for transport planning purposes. The forecasts include population, employment, households by car ownership and trip ends.
All the data is available for free, for anyone to use.
The functionality of V5 and V6 TEMPRO software is essentially the same (though V6 provides additional NTM Traffic Growth Calculations).
V6, however, has been designed to install and run more effectively under later versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Vista, XP and Windows 7) and is therefore recommended for use. V5 remains available and will be supported as before.
To download the NTEM data and TEMPRO software you will need to register as a user of the Tempro website.
Registration allows us to inform users when the planning data or software is updated.
To register now select the 'Register' option from the menu at
the left of the screen.
If you have already registered please log in by typing your E-mail address into
the box below and clicking on the 'Log In' button.

The current version of the Tempro Software is v6.2. The current regional data sets version is NTEM 5.4. The NTEM 5.4 datasets can be used in conjunction with the latest TEMPRO V6.2 software.
It is expected that, in April 2010, the NTEM 5.4 datasets will be replaced by the NTEM 6.1 dataset. This has now been released “In Draft” for promoters who are working on projects due after April.
