Speed management

Road safety partnership grant scheme
A new £4million road safety schheme was launched in October 2006 by Transport Minister Stephen Ladyman. The Road Safety Partnership Grant Scheme provides funding to local highway authorities in England who are taking an innovative approach to improving road safety. This document summarises the purpose of this scheme and provides details of the 25 schemes awarded a grant in its first year (2007-2008)
Road Safety Grant Challenge Fund Criteria

RSAP(01)7 Progress report to end March 2001
This is the third of a continuing series of quarterly reports on progress towards delivering the many commitments in the road safety strategy, "Tomorrow' roads - safer for everyone", that will help achieve the Government's casualty reduction targets for 2010. The report does not cover separate progress and achievements in Scotland and Wales.
