The Transport Statistics Users Group (TSUG)
The Transport Statistics Users Group brings together academics, local and national public bodies, businesses and individuals who use transport statistics, providing a forum for discussion and sharing information and ideas.
Central and Local (Government) Information Partnership (CLIP)
CLIP Transport Statistics (CLIP-TS) is a sub-group of the Central and Local (Government) Information Partnership (CLIP), the main forum for discussion between central and local government on statistical and data matters.
Standing Committee on Road Accident Statistics
The Standing Committee on Road Accident Statistics (SCRAS) was set up in 1977 to oversee the STATS19 process for road accident data collection.
Maritime Statistics Advisory Group (MSAG)
The Maritime Statistics Advisory Group is chaired by the Department for Transport and includes members from Government, the maritime industry and the academic and consuiltancy sector with experience of using and providing data for official maritime statistics, and with practical experience of the sector itself.

The group holds regular seminars on topical subjects connected with the provision and/or use of transport statistics.
A newsletter is sent to all members about four times a year. Corporate membership of the Group is £50, personal membership £22.50, and student membership £10.

Standing Committee on Road Accident Statistics
The Standing Committee on Road Accident Statistics (SCRAS) was set up in 1977 to oversee the new STATS19 process for road accident data collection. It was given the following terms of reference:
SCRAS has continued to steer the process of accident data collection since then -particularly dealing with the quinquennial reviews of the survey.
The membership of the committee is drawn from a wide range of bodies and includes representatives of central government, local government and the police. The committee is chaired by DfT. A full list of members and the bodies they represent is given in the SCRAS newsletters.
