Project: Investigation of the slipstreams and wakes of ground vehicles

Reference: CSU 28/4/59

Last update: 01/08/2003 15:24:30

Objectives

To investigate the flow field (slipstream and wake) around a small number of generic vehicles.

Description

Tests will be carried out using a large Moving Model Rig. The qualitative and quantitative data obtained will be used to develop computational fluid dynamics models to analyse the aerodynamic behaviour of ground vehicles.
