This project aims to provide measurement and evaluation of products available to disabled people as well as the production of a revised guidance on vehicle choice for disabled people, which will be available free of charge to disabled people, mobility centres and professionals working in the field of outdoor mobility.


The project will update the available research to inform policy making and the production of guidance to disabled people on choosing a car, the techniques to help them and sources of information resourceful to them. The project began in 2002 and is expected to run until March 2004.
