Objectives

The main objective of this research is to produce a report to DIPTAC identifying how accessibility for disabled people can be written into design briefs.

Description

DIPTAC require advice on practical ways to ensure that built environment professionals can procure buildings suitable for disabled-access. This work is in conjuction with the DIPTAC Built Environment Working Group. It is intended to assist in advancing the policy that accessibility shall be a condition of whether grant is given.
