This research is to produce a report reviewing earlier research by MVA on variable-demand modelling. The research is necessary to deal with forecasting and assignment of trips to a highly congested road network.

Summary of results

  1. A report of the options was undertaken, accompanied by a review and development of findings from earlier research by MVA. Two ways of overcoming the shortcomings in MVA's research were identified and tested.
