The Department needed to ensure that it was robust in terms of using the most suitable data, and that the model's structure was likely to be suitable for most policy options; and would be capable of further suitable development.

Description

This research was to review the options for a National Transport Policy Model, having regard to development of new trip end forecasts and their application to the national network model.
