Project: Literature Review of the Evidence on AST Sub-Objectives

Reference: R269

Last update: 05/12/2008 12:07:32

To provide evidence on quantified impacts, which are the result of transport interventions.

Appraisal in DfT currently assesses the impact of transport projects on 23 sub-objectives. The Department constantly reviews the evidence used in these appraisals, and as part of this, would like to review the available evidence on the impact of transport interventions for several NATA sub-objectives: townscape; interchange (excluding rail); severance; security and heritage.
The project will deliver a literature review - which will set out the evidence available to help quantify the impact for each of the above defined AST sub-objectives.
