Objectives

To provide solid output against G8 commitments and to build trans-Atlantic co-operation in the areas of;

engine emissions

emission scenarios and emission data bases

near field and plume processes

impact on the chemical composition of the atmosphere

impact of aerosols

contrails

impact on climate

mitigation of impacts

Description

The TAC conference takes place 26 - 29 June in Oxford. It is a science conference arranged and managed by scientists from academia and research organisations, the third in a series dating back to 2000, the previous two having been held in Germany. They have attracted a large international audience of top scientists, technologists and industry environment specialists.
