Project: Sustainable Development Research Network (SDRN)

Reference: C/07/004

Last update: 17/02/2010 12:31:32

The Sustainable Development Research Network (SDRN) links the world of academic research with that of Government, so that policy-making is consistently informed by the most up-to-date sustainable development (SD) research available. SDRN's objectives are to facilitate the provision and dissemination of relevant research and evidence, to promote understanding among policy-makers and practitioners, to promote SD research; and to advise the Sustainable Development Unit (Defra) on SD research issues.

This project represents DfT's contribution to SDRN - so as to ensure transport issues are included within the scope of SDRN and that DfT policy-makers have effective access to the Network.
