Objectives

The objective of this research is to estimate the changes in destination choice, trip timing and trip generation arising from the completion of the Manchester motorway box and relate these findings to the stages adopted in travel demand models.

Description

This project will improved understanding of induced traffic effects, using evidence from before and after the completion of the Manchester Inner Ring Road.
