Objectives

To examine and disseminate effective crime reduction techniques at stations in socially excluded areas or in high crime locations by:

Identifying the issues and examining if these are predominantly related to the area the station or general exclusion issues

Identifying the causes of and solutions to reducing fear of crime in these areas

Examining current methods of reducing crime in socially excluded or high crime areas and identifying the most effective responses

Description

This project will identify different approaches to reducing crime and evaluate different crime reduction and regeneration techniques.
