Reference: UG527

Last update: 25/10/2004 14:37:54

To review exisiting studies of road user pricing schemes to assess what information already exists.
Identify what we can learn about pricing structures from other transport modes and industries.
Improve our understanding of the relationship between information and people's ability to respond.
Recommend what further new research would be most valuable to fill the evidence gaps.

The research will explore the issues around an effective pricing structure for road user charges. It is largely a desk study and literature review.
