Summary of results

  1. The survey did meet the required output as we were able to see that awareness of Transport Direct increased from 1% (2004)to 8% (2007). The survey also informed us of not only awareness of the words Transport Direct but also recognition of the homepage and logo, as iconography was used during the course of the survey.
We were also able to glean information on the future requirements for Transport Direct, which supported portal development e.g the demand for car park information.

The results from the first survey results were also used to inform Transport Direct user profiles and the TD usability expert based his findings on these results.
