Objectives

Freight future is a brand new newsletter on sustainable distribution published by the Government's Energy Efficiency Best Practice Programme (EEBPP).

What does the newsletter aim to do? Quite simply, to tell the industry about current best practice in the field of sustainable distribution. Published every six months, it will pull together in one place all the help, information and advice available to help you 'green' your operations.

Description

Everywhere you look, making your fleet greener to help the environment is on the agenda. But is this really compatible with minimising costs and improving service levels?
The answer is, very definitely, "yes"! and this newsletter is designed to help you find out how. Examples include fuel management practices to reduce fuel use, using cleaner fuels to benefit from reduced duty levels and using software to
improve routing and scheduling predictability.
Whatever the right approach for your business, large or small, help is available in the form of guidance and grants, as well as case studies from other companies. Freight future will point you in the right direction. We hope you enjoy Freight future and use it to access the help available and enjoy the benefits.
