Objectives

The objective of this project is to produce a structured report reflecting the literature review on travel instruction for disabled people to give to the Mobility and Inclusion Unit.

Description

To carry out a survey of travel training programmes for disabled people and to gather information about how they were developed and the material they cover.

Summary of results

  1. A Document titled "Travel Instruction - a Report to the Department for Transport" was produced by the Joint Mobility Unit Joint Access Partnership. The document has not been published but details are avalable from the Mobility & Inclusion Unit.

Departmental Assessment Status: Project completed prior to the implementation of the Departmental publications scheme.
