Reference: H110B

Last update: 22/03/2007 16:29:39

Objectives

The objective of this project is to create software which had the ability to manipulate the data from passenger ticketing relating to stations to enable the data to be used in the national transport modelling work, which uses land-use zoning.

Description

This project created software running on a PC suitable for manipulating the data from passenger ticketing relating to stations to enable the data to be used in the national transport modelling work, which uses land-use zoning. It creates matrices between each origin and destination station, whilst enabling resolution of the journeys made so that they are related to origin zone and access profiles. For a selected rail station, the data can be compared on a ward-by-ward basis with other surveys, and software.
