Objectives

The objectives of this research is to produce a report on the availability of private hire services to disabled people. The report will outline the service principles, attributes and characteristics likely to increase the availability of services to disabled people.

Description

This project is considering how private hire services can become more available to disabled people. It follows the recommendations of the Disability Rights Task Force for DIPTAC to consider this issue. The project will look at non-vehicle design, service issues across the UK.
