Objectives

The objective of this research is to provide guidance for appraisal practitioners to identify the regeneration impacts of transport schemes.

Description

This research will provide guidance for appraisal practitioners to identify the regeneration impacts of transport schemes. This will assist the department to meet its commitment, following SACTRA, to provide guidance on an Economic Impact Report (EIR) and to replace existing guidance for measuring wider economic impacts on transport appraisal
