How, When and What the RFA will report
The RFA's annual report to Parliament, and publicly available interim reports, will evaluate the sustainability of biofuels supplied through the RTFO. This will include information on the absolute and relative performance of different suppliers to encourage responsible sourcing of feedstock.
The RFA will make information available in a way that is accessible to consumers and which could inform their purchasing decisions. However, in compiling this information the RFA will recognise and protect the commercial sensitivity of information such as individual suppliers’ sales volumes from which market shares can be deduced.
