Summary
New regulations come into force on 1 February 2012 and set out the requirements which need to be followed by air carriers wishing to bring cargo or mail into the European Union from a third country. The following letter was addressed to all airlines operating into the EU and allocated to the UK via the EU Emissions Trading System and explains the action which needs to be undertaken by affected carriers no later than 18th January 2012.
