This report comprises a knowledge review exploring the Social and Distributional Impacts of Climate Change Policy Options, as commissioned by the Department for Transport. The report provides insights for consideration by policy makers on potential social impacts of climate change initiatives and how they may affect different groups in society. This report provides a useful resource to help encourage the design of local sustainable transport initiatives that minimise and/or mitigate any potential negative impacts on vulnerable groups within the local population.
