This is web-based non-statutory guidance to local authorities in England. It provides local authorities with good practice advice on administering and enforcing the Blue Badge scheme. It replaces the previous guidance issued in 2008. This guidance was informed by an extensive independent programme of work undertaken on behalf of the DfT by Integrated Transport Planning Ltd (ITP) and the TAS Partnership Ltd (TAS). The final report of this work, referred to in the guidance as the ‘independent review’ has now been published. Please see link below to the Blue Badge good practice review.
