Access for All funding is a key part of the Government’s strategy to improve the accessibility of Great Britain’s railway. This funding is specifically targeted at providing infrastructure improvements at stations which will enable more disabled people to access the rail network.

In April this year we invited bids for a new programme of Access for All Mid-Tier programme for station access projects requiring between £250,000 and £1,000,000 of Government support. The programme was to have been worth £17m but due to the large number of very strong bids we received we have decided to increase the available funding to £37.5m.
