Public attitudes to congestion and road pricing
Introduction
This short report presents key findings on people’s experiences of road congestion and their attitudes towards alternative ways of charging for road use. The report focuses on survey results from a module of questions included in the Office for National Statistics Omnibus Survey in October and November 2007. Comparisons with data from two previous surveys are also included in the report. These surveys took place in November 2005 and October/November 2006/January 2007.
