Introduction

This report summarises people's attitudes to congestion on motorways and other roads in Great Britain. The results have come from questions included in the Office for National Statistics' Omnibus survey in July and November 2004. The questions covered the following topics:

  • Road congestion;
  • Perceptions of motorway congestion;
  • Last motorway journey;
  • Information about traffic problems;
