Aviation is a major UK industry and the demand for air travel is growing. DfT helps the aviation industry to be efficient, environmentally friendly and safe. This web page provides trends on activity at UK and international airports, punctuality at UK airports, main outputs of UK airline, casualties caused by aviation, number of incidents and personnel employed by UK airlines. This page also gives links to the websites of the main sources of the aviation data here Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
