Air cargo security
EU regulation 831/06 came into force in Member States in January 2007. That regulation requires Regulated Agents and Airlines to acquire certain factual information (including some financial information such as bank account details) from their account consignors and that account consignors consent to inspection by Department for Transport compliance inspectors. Full details of the information required can be obtained from the Regulated Agent or Airline concerned.
