Letters to stakeholders about recruitment of shadow board and stakeholder events

This newsletter is to update you on a number of recent RTFO programme developments.
First, a reminder that the DfT is running a series of stakeholder events on the detail of the proposed carbon and sustainability reporting requirements underpinning the RTFO, including a workshop on the afternoon of Thursday 26 July. To register for any of these events, please contact rtfo.consultation@dft.gsi.gov.uk.
Second, we are due very shortly to publish a summary of the responses to the consultation on the detailed design of, and longer-term evolution of, the RTFO. We will issue a further newsletter with a link to the document as soon as possible.
Finally, you might like to be aware that the recruitment process has commenced for a number of important roles that will contribute to the development of the Office of the Renewable Fuels Agency, which is due to be formally established by the RTFO Order in late 2007.
