RTFO workshop report and invitation to pilot carbon and sustainability reporting
The latest RTFO stakeholder workshops were held on 2 and 3 November. I would like to thank all those who attended; the discussions were extremely useful. Attached to this note is a summary of the main points made, the questions that were asked, and the responses, as well as the power point presentations.
Invitation
Delegates who attended the workshop will have heard details of the two carbon and sustainability projects that have recently been launched to encourage the supply of sustainable biofuels through the RTFO.
We are now seeking companies who might be interested in piloting the carbon and/or sustainability reporting guidance. We are holding an initial meeting later this month to explain what will be involved. More information including downloadable documents will shortly be available from www.dft.gov.uk/roads/RTFO. Companies throughout the fuel supply chain are welcome and encouraged to attend.
