Letter to stakeholders - RTFO Order approved
Dear stakeholder
The Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation Order 2007 was approved by both Houses of Parliament this week. It now needs to be signed by the Minister, which should happen this morning (Thursday 25 Oct). It will then come into force the day after it is made.
The Office of the Renewable Fuels Agency will come into existence as soon as the Order comes into force. The Chair, Board members and Chief Executive will be announced shortly. The Obligation itself will come into force from 15 April, 2008.
