Carbon and sustainability reporting requirements under the RTFO
I attach records of the stakeholder workshops that were held in the DfT last month to discuss the detail of the carbon and sustainability reporting requirements that are due to underpin the RTFO. Copies of the presentations given at the workshops will also be available shortly via the RTFO website at http://www.dft.gov.uk/pgr/roads/environment/rtfo/. The consultation closes on 13 September.
The note of the RTFO Technical Workshop on Carbon Reporting (first attachment) includes a number of annexes providing clarifications on issues raised at the workshops, including references for defaults, ETBE and land use calculations. In addition, the Excel spreadsheet used to calculate the fuel chain defaults can be found on E4tech’s website at: www.cust.e4tech.com/rtfo (username: carbon, password: reporting).
