The Government has today published:
- a summary of responses to last year's consultation on the proposed detail of the RTFO's carbon and sustainability reporting requirements;
- its final recommendations to the Renewable Fuels Agency (RFA) on this matter.

Final decisions on the detail of the reporting requirements are a matter for the RFA, which is expected to issue its own guidance very shortly via its website at http://www.dft.gov.uk/rfa. Transport fuel suppliers will be required to follow the RFA's guidance in submitting their carbon and sustainability reports in order to receive any renewable transport fuel certificates.
