We have created a section on dft.gov.uk dedicated to our work in promoting Sustainable Travel. It is available from the main navigation menu on the left-hand side of every page.
This new area brings together selected information previously held in Local Transport and other sections across the Department's web site into a central sustainable travel resource.
The content that is available is relevant to both Local Authorities and households, providing guidance about initiatives that can help reduce congestion, improve local environments and encourage healthier and safer lifestyles.
