Public Relations elements
The PR elements of the Toolkit are intended to provide local organisations with ideas about other ways to promote the concession in England and are an additional resource that can help to assist any advertising campaigns.
The following PR ideas are designed to provide local organisations with suggestions about a range of approaches that have been used effectively in previous communications campaigns. Local organisations can then choose which, if any, of the approaches may be best for their local requirements. The PR elements are not presented here as a one-size fits all PR campaign, rather as suggestions from which organisations can use those elements that are most appropriate.
