Bus partnership forum logo   

Chaired by Rosie Winterton MP, the Bus Partnership Forum brings together senior representatives from the bus industry, central and local government. The Forum aims to forge a spirit of co-operation and to overcome any barriers to achieving an effective climate of partnership between the key stakeholders. Member organisations are:

  • The Confederation of Passenger Transport
  • The Local Government Association
  • The Association of Transport Co-Ordinating Officers
  • The Passenger Transport Executive Group
  • The Department for Transport.

The Forum's work programme is overseen by an official-level Steering Group. The Steering Group has established 'Task & Finish' groups to look at possible solutions to the problems that prevent buses from achieving their potential for growth.
